2024 Season Artists

Violinist Wyatt Underhill is currently the acting associate concertmaster of the San Francisco Symphony, having held the position of assistant concertmaster with the orchestra since 2018.

Noted for her sensitive and thoughtful approach, pianist Sayaka Tanikawa enjoys an active career as a recitalist and chamber musician in the United States and abroad.

Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, cellist Estelle Choi has garnered top prizes as a soloist and as a chamber musician. She has gained international recognition as a founding member of the Calidore String Quartet, an ensemble that celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2020.

Brianna just finished her sixth season with the Minnesota Ballet. She performed roles such as Chosen One in Robert Gardner’s Rite of Spring and grown-up Clara, Ice Fairy, Dew Drop Fairy in Allen Fields’ The Nutcracker.

Meredith Kufchak joined the Dallas Symphony Orchestra as principal viola in 2019. Prior to her move to Dallas, she spent one season as a member of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.

Matt Young is a member of the San Francisco Symphony viola section and is a faculty member at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. His students have recently won jobs in the Atlanta, California, Dallas, Fort Worth, Jacksonville, Geneva, Pittsburgh, and Santa Rosa symphonies.
